Volunteers

We need volunteers to help us make this parade happen. Please email us

Parade:
We need a few stalwart individuals to help us get the bikes and vehicles lined up and ready for the parade and a few drivers with passengers who are willing to take responsibility for keep the parade together.

Table organizer:
A number of organizations promoting sustainable fuels and transportation options will be at this event. We need a few friendly volunteers to keep track of these tablers, show them where to set-up, and also to run an info table for the day. Besides being the central source of information, you’ll also be giving away free food for all the volunteers and participants.

Set-up:
We’ll need help lugging sound equipment and tables around before the parade and after the bands have finished playing. While not the most glorious work, this is the most important.

Decorations:
Help people decorate their cars the morning of, help us out the day before as we paint signs and make banners and prepare decorations for cars that come to the parade (will give you beer and Barbeque if you help us!).

Bike shepherds:
Feel like having an urban adventure? Be a bike shepherd for the parade! We need you to keep our cars slow and together, rally passersby, and help facilitate communication down the parade line. This is an unescorted parade, so we need your help to make it work.
