Information for Parade Participants:

Decorate your Vehicle! Come early to decorate your car at the park, we will have supplies or bring your own.

Arrive at 11:30 for the Parade. The line-up begins at the Seattle Asian Art Museum in Volunteer Park. Click here to see the Parade Route.

Arrive back at Volunteer Park by 1-1:30 PM.

Speakers begin at 2 PM.

Bring a Picnic, some Bocce Ball or Croquet.

Visit the informational tables and check out the vehicles to learn more about how you too can use less oil...

Information for Participating Organizations and Tablers:

Bring the table and informational materials or let us know in advance if you need us to bring you a table/ chairs (email info@independencefromoil.org).

Check in with us when you arrive- there will be a volunteer to assist you.

Set up begins at 11-11:30 AM.

If you are bringing non-gasoline powered vehicles there will be some parking available on site, a few spots may be available near your table. Email info@independencefromoil.org for more information so we can reserve your place.

We also have extra drivers/riders if you would like to bring additional vehicles, and you might consider a "floor model" for the parking space.

We will have BBQs for your use, but you should bring some grillables. We will have some food donated from Essential Baking Company and perhaps others for our volunteers and tablers.
